A 190 kg satellite is orbiting on a circular orbit 8875 km above the Earth's surface. Determine the speed of the satellite. (The mass of the Earth is 5.98*10^24 kg, and the radius of the Earth is 6370 km.)

R = re + r = 8875 + 6370 = 15245 km = 15245000 m
speed of the satellite = sqrt ( G * Me / R) = sqrt ( (6.67 * (10^-11) * 5.98 * (10^24))/15245000) = 5115.048954 m/s
speed of the satellite = 5115.048954 m/s is the answer
