A cube made of crown glass (n = 1.52) is submerged in water (n = 1.33), as shown in the figure. If a ray of light enters the cube at point A with an angle of incidence in the water of 62.0°, determine the angle of refraction in water for this light as it travels from the glass and into water at point B.
= ____ degree

n1*sin(thita1) =n2*sin(thita2)

1.33* sin62=1.52*sin (thita2)

thita2=50.58 degree

now at point B

insident angle=(90-thita2)

=(90-50.58)

=39.42

son at point B

n3*sin(thita3) =n4*sin(thita4)

1.52*sin(39.42)=1.33*(sin(thita4))

thita4=46.52 degree

angle of refraction in water for this light =46.52 degree
