Speed of Light in Glass = Speed of Light in Vacuum/Refractive INdex

= (3*10^8)/1.33

= 2.255*10^8 m/sec

Speed of Light in Oil = (3*10^8)/1.46

= 2.05*10^8 m/sec

Speed of Light in polustyrene = (3*10^8)/1.59

= 1.887*10^8 m/sec

Therefore

Total Time required = Dsitance/Velocity

= ((5.8*10^-2)/(2.05*10^8)) + ((2.3*10^-2)/(2.255*10^8)) + ((1*10^-2)/(1.887*10^8))

= 4.38*10^-10 sec

= 0.438 ns
