A 3.96 ohm resistor, a 7.89 ohm resistor, and a 9.10 ohm resistor are connected in series with a 15.0 V battery.

A.) What is the equivalent resistance?
B.) What is the current in each resistor?

A) Connected in series, hence eq resistance ==> 3.96+7.89+9.10 = 20.95 ohms
B) Current is same across all resistors( since series ) V =iR ==> i = V/R ==> 15/20.95 == 0.716 amperes.
