Jack runs up the stairs, elevating his 75.1 kg body a vertical distance of 2.20 meters in a time of 2.31 seconds. Determine the power (in Watts) done by the stairs on Jack's body.

POWER P= F*V (F=FORCE & V= VELOCITY)

VELOCITY V= Distance/Time

so V= 2.20/2.31 =0.9523 m/s

so power = 75.1*0.9523 = 71.52 Kg-m/s

since, 1 Watt=0.1019 m/s,

therefore 71.52 Kg-m/s= 701.37 Watt

therefore the required answer =701.37 Watt
