Fe = Fg

q*E = m*g

E = m*g/q

= 1*10^-2*9.8/3.1*10^-6

= 3.0625*10^4 N/c (downward)

when charge becomes double

Fnet = 2*q*E - m*g

m*a = 2*q*E - m*g

= 2*(m*g) - m*g

= g

= 9.8 m/s^2
