You measure the power delivered by a battery to be 2.77 W when it is connected in series with two equal resistors. How much power will the same battery deliver if the resistors are now connected in parallel across it?

power delivered by battery

P = V * I

where in first case

I = V / 2R

P = V^2/2r = 2.77W

now they are connected parellel

Requivalent = R/ 2

P1 =2V^2/R

P1 = 2.77*4

Power =11.08 W ( answer)
