There is a 3 m long uniform seesaw that has a mass of 10 kg in the play area. The pivot point is 2 m from one end. You (69kg) jump on the end farthest from the pivot point and a friend (79kg) wants to sit so that the seesaw is balanced. Where should she sit?

1* 69 -0.5*10 = 79 *X

X =0.810m ( from pivot on other side of 69 kg)

answer X =0.810m
