If inductive reactance is equal to the resistance

Let resistance=a then inductive reactance is also =a

ie Z=a+ja

phase angle $\phi$=tan-1(imaginary part/real part)

phase angle $\phi$=tan-1(a/a)

$\phi$=tan-11=450
